A-line

A-line gowns, simply put, resemble the outline of an upper-case “A”! This style is fitted through the bodice and flows out from the waist towards the hem. A-line gowns vary in volume at the skirt, but are much flower than a classic ball gown!

Ball gown

The classic “princess” dress! The ball gown has a fitted bodice and a full, voluminous skirt. This style can be exaggerated with a petticoat or hoop skirt to add volume to the skirt.

Fit-and-Flare

Fit-and-flare gowns are fitted through the body and flows out around mid-thigh. Not to be confused with a mermaid cut, as the bottom of the skirt has exaggerated volume that creates a “flare". The fit-and-flare gown is a cross between a mermaid and A-line silhouette.
